Silver Mountain Christmas Trees has long been a leader in the wholesale Christmas tree industry, growing approximately 3,500 acres of Noble fir, Fraser fir, Grand fir, and Douglas fir. We ship 300,000 to 350,000 trees each season.

Helicopters are used to move harvested trees from the fields to minimize transport damage. The trees are then palletized in pallets of 20-45 trees—this makes for more efficient shipping, less handling and much less damage to the trees. Palletizing is much more efficient than the traditional baling method common at other Christmas tree farms.

Silver Mountain Christmas trees palletizes the trees and covers them for safe shipment anywhere in the world. Our pallets are shipped in enclosed vans and refrigerated trucks, and trees that are shipped on flat beds are covered with tarps to prevent travel damage. In most cases, once a tree is tagged and cut, it is palletized, loaded, and sent on its way to you within 48 hours.

In some areas in the western U.S., the tree goes from stump to retail lot in less than 3 days (this depends of course on the distance between your lot and our mountain.)
